Cold Process Adhesive

Application

  • Flat Roofs
  • Low Slope up to 2/12 Pitch
  • Relatively Small Roof; Few Squares or Less

Process

  • Tear-off Existing Roof
  • Install Base Sheet
  • Apply Cold Process Adhesive (CPA) to Base Sheet
  • Install Rolled Roofing Cap Sheet Imbedded into Adhesive

Construction

  • Polyester Mat Saturated with Asphalt
  • Coated with SBS-Modified Asphalt
  • Surfaced with Ceramic Granules
  • Exhibits Superior Elasticity and Strength
  • High Resistance to Thermal Shock and Punctures

Self-Adhesive

Application

  • Can Not be Used on Flat Roofs

Process

  • Tear-off Existing Roof
  • Install Base Sheet
  • Install Self Sticking Cap Sheet Over Base Sheet
  • Optional Mid-Ply Can be Installed Between Base Sheet and Cap Sheet--Extends Warranty for Three Additional Years
  • Heavy Steel Roller is Rolled Over Roof to Insure a Good Bond Between the Base Sheet and Cap Sheet

Construction

  • Polyester Mat Saturated with Asphalt
  • Coated with SBS-Modified Asphalt
  • Surfaced with Ceramic Granules
  • Adhesive material applied to back side
  • Exhibits Superior Elasticity and Strength
  • High Resistance to Thermal Shock and Punctures

  • Considered a Hot Process because a Hot Flame Torch is Used for Application of Cap Sheet

Process

  • Tear-off Existing Roof
  • Install Base Sheet
  • Install Torch Applied Cap Sheet Over Base Sheet
  • Apply Granules at Seams to Dress Any Bleed-out

Construction

  • Polyester Mat Saturated with Asphalt
  • Coated with SBS-Modified Asphalt
  • Surfaced with Ceramic Granules
  • Heat activated asphalt material applied to back side
  • Exhibits Superior Elasticity and Strength
  • High Resistance to Thermal Shock and Punctures

  • Install Base Sheet
  • Install Two Layers of 4-Ply Fiberglass Hot Mopped to the Base Sheet Using Hot Liquified Asphalt
  • Install a Modified Rolled Cap Sheet Using Hot Liquified Asphalt
  • Apply Granules to Seams to Dress Bleed-Out

Construction

  • Polyester Mat Saturated with Asphalt
  • Coated with SBS-Modified Asphalt
  • Surfaced with Ceramic Granules
  • Exhibits Superior Elasticity and Strength
  • High Resistance to Thermal Shock and Punctures

Tapered Insulation System

  • Optional Feature of a Modified Roof System
  • Installed Under the Modified Rolled Cap Sheet
  • Provides a Previously Flat Roof with a Slight Taper to Allow for Positive Water Drainage
  • Typical Slopes are 1/8" per Foot or 1/4" per Foot
  • Custom Engineered for Each Application
